Laura Mansoori
Performer & Choreographer.
Welcome! I’m a triple-threat who thrives as a swing and dance captain. I bring precision, adaptability, and a caring, collaborative energy that helps the whole room shine.
Hi! I'm Laura.
I thrive in creative environments and bring a rare balance of structure and heart to the rehearsal room. With significant experience as a swing, understudy and dance captain, I love both classic revivals that demand precision and quirky new works that thrive on adaptability. I'm a team player and am great at seeing how all the parts fit into the whole, but I also know how to stand out in a crowd. I like to lead with gentle authority - I'm thoughtful, collaborative, and able to elevate both movers and non-movers while keeping the integrity of the production strong.

Take a look around and please don't hesitate to be in touch. Thanks for stopping by!

Laura Mansoori
Originally from Peoria, Illinois, Laura Mansoori holds a B.S. in Theatre Performance from Bradley University and has trained at the Playwrights Horizons Theater School through NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Her career encompasses musicals, classical theatre, and improv, along with engaging audiences in Central Florida’s theme parks and mentoring young performers through theatre education. Rooted in her background as a dancer, she brings a love of movement to her storytelling, underscored by the richness and versatility of her mezzo-soprano voice. She is drawn to bold, dynamic choices onstage—always rooted in craft, clarity, and play.

"Divine. A riot. You can't take your eyes off of her."
"Laura Mansoori is a riot as Lina Lamont, a Hollywood star who, despite her beautiful screen image, is just this side of The Bowery. She puts the right spin on the show’s famous line “I can’t stand him,” in which she’s trying her hardest to round out those nasally vowels, but instead says “I cin’t stind ‘im.” Although her big number is “What’s Wrong with Me,” she upstages herself with her divine vampy exit when, after getting hit in the face with a pie, she exclaims “Dignity my ass!” In addition to having some crazy comic skills, Ms. Mansoori is also quite a dancer. Wisely, Mr. Heron places Lina into the “Broadway Melody” number which takes full advantage of Ms. Mansoori’s dancing talent. You can’t take your eyes off her."
